Resort World

Resort World is an application where you can create your idea of a perfect island getaway.  The game starts with giving you a small piece of land and water area.  To get you started the game walks you through the building process.

The concept is to build houses, hotels, entertainment facilities, public facilities, and put up decorations.  Each building is assigned an XP (experience point) value, how many workers it takes, how much electricity it uses, and how much money it generates.  Most buildings are locked at the beginning.  You have to level your island up to unlocked more things.

First, build what you can and upgrade your properties to maximize profits.  When a green dollar sign appears on your building, click on it to get paid and get XP points.

Second, add friends as neighbors.  You can visit your neighbors island and due chores for them for money.  If you do not have friends who play, you visit Resort World facebook profile and put a add friend request.  You will need neighbors to expand your island.

Third, everyday check on your island for a daily bonus.  Just keep building and leveling up.  As your island expands you can move your buildings around and redecorate.

For me the main pro for Resort Island is that you do not have to check on it every hour.  There are some games that have you cooking food or growing crops.  On these games you have to keep going back to them or else the food and crops go bad.  With Resort Island, your buildings are not going to disappear just because you do not collect on the money quick enough.

The main con for me is there is only so much you can do with the game.  There are only 8 land and 7 water expansions that you can do.  You soon run out of room to put everything.
